A warm-hearted welcome!

The long cherished dream of owning a hotel came true for us. Since March 1st 2009, we are the warm-hearted hosts of the Bären Dürrenroth in the region of Emmental.

The Landgasthof Bären, the guesthouse Kreuz with its charming Bernese flower garden and the modern seminar center are awarded as “historic hotel” and the historic buildings are of national importance. The ensemble should display the triad of history, enjoyment and hospitality.

Our goal: Everyone is welcome to feel comfortable and to absorb the cosy atmosphere, which is not only characteristic for the place since hundreds of years but is still alive and noticeable on the whole premises.
